Goals and format

This workshop is an introduction to the Kurt Lewin Institute and has two goals:
1) to introduce the KLI and give information about the different tasks of the members of the KLI, and
2) to get to know the other PhD students in the KLI.

PhD-students will be introduced to the KLI by the Teaching Director (Gert-Jan Lelieveld, LEI), the Research Director, and the PhD-representative (Eleni Giannkoudi, RUG). A postdoc researcher will talk about their work experience after finishing their PhD, and the KLI's confidential advisor (Ton Hol, UU) will give more information about scientific integrity.

Furthermore, this day is also a good opportunity to get to know your peers who recently started their PhD. We will organize an activity in the afternoon where students can get to know each other and the city of Utrecht, and a dinner in the evening will be provided for by the KLI.
