Content

Ph.D. students are invited to contribute with a presentation. Usually this presentation is about their own research, in case they want to receive feedback from KLI faculty and fellow Ph.D. students. Participants could practice a presentation they will give at a conference, present research ideas, preliminary data, or discuss a paper they are currently writing and get feedback from colleagues. Presentations are informal and presenters can indicate what type of feedback they are looking for.

There is also the possibility for presentations on topics other than the PhD student’s own research; such presentations are decided on together with the track coordinators.

In both cases, short and long presentations are possible, depending on the extent of the topic or the feedback that is desired.

At the end of the programme, we dedicate one hour to having students pair up and exchange experiences about the phd project. The idea is that a junior student pairs up with a senior student. We did this two years ago and the students liked it a lot. Those who were junior two years ago are now senior, so this is a good time to repeat this.
