Content

This two-day presentation course combines theory and a lot of practice to help participants to become more effective and confident in their presentations. On the first day, participants explore the structure of a strong presentation, including preparation, introduction, and the central message, supported by exercises, feedback, and short practice sessions. The second day focuses on delivering the conclusion, handling questions, and managing nerves, followed by multiple participant presentations (including giving and receiving feedback). And for those who like a challenge, we might throw in some Powerpoint Karaoke…

Learning goals

1. Participants can structure a clear and well-organized presentation with a strong introduction, central message, and conclusion.

2. Participants can apply effective presentation techniques to engage an audience.

Preparation

The participants are asked to prepare a 10-minute presentation about their work, including slides.
