Content
Eri Sasaki is a social psychologist with a focus on close relationships. She studies how romantic partners navigate relationship challenges in ways that promote relational well-being. Taking a dyadic approach, her research examines how both partners jointly shape their interactions. Her work has shown that dyadic combinations in both partners’ emotions, emotion regulation strategies, and communication behaviors influence relational outcomes.
Eri Sasaki is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Amsterdam, supported by an NWO Veni grant. She previously held postdoctoral positions at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the University of Toronto, She completed her PhD at the University of Auckland and her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the National University of Singapore.

We encourage everyone to present once per academic year. We highly welcome informal talks about research projects that are in progress (can be a research idea, proposal, newly collected data or a paper, everything is possible!).
