Content

Track meeting with a special guest from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam: dr. Eri Sasaki.

Eri Sasaki is a social psychologist with a focus on close relationships. She studies how romantic partners navigate relationship challenges in ways that promote relational well-being. Taking a dyadic approach, her research examines how both partners jointly shape their interactions. Her work has shown that dyadic combinations in both partners’ emotions, emotion regulation strategies, and communication behaviors influence relational outcomes.  

Eri Sasaki is currently a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and will soon begin an NWO Veni project at the University of Amsterdam. She was previously a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto Mississauga, after completing her PhD at the University of Auckland and her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the National University of Singapore.
