Goals and format

This workshop is an introduction to the Kurt Lewin Institute and has two goals:
1) to introduce the KLI and give information about the different tasks of the members of the KLI, and
2) to get to know the other PhD students in the KLI.

PhD-students will be introduced to the KLI by the Teaching director (Gert-Jan Lelieveld, LU), Research director Ilja van Beest (TU), and the PhD-representative (Terence das Dores Cruz, VU). A postdoc researcher will tell about their work experience after finishing their PhD, and the KLI's confidential advisor will give more information about scientific integrity.

Furthermore, this day is also a good opportunity to get to know your peers who recently started their PhD. We will organize an activity in the afternoon where students can get to know the other students and the city of Utrecht.

The plan is to organize this course in Utrecht, but if the Covid-regulations will not allow us, then we will move the course online.
